Minilo je skoraj dva meseca od zadnje objave, torej je sedaj že skrajni čas, da objavim kakšne nove fotografije. Tokrat ponovno avtomobilska tematika.
Danes smo se četverica iz foruma
oldschool-slo.com odpeljali v Vrtojbo, kjer so naši zahodni sosedi priredili vožnjo na čas s starodobniki imenovano Piston cup. Proga, ki je primarno namenjena gokartom, je imela sedem časovnih kontrol v katere si moral pripeljati v času, ki ga je določil organizator. Bili smo malo presenečeni, ko smo videli kakšne naprave za merjenje časa in razne slušalke imajo konkurentje, zato smo tudi mi zadevo vzeli malo bolj zares. Vsak je imel sovoznika, ki je narekoval tempo sodeč po štoparici na telefonu. Ko smo mislili, da zadevo že obvladamo, so prišli rezultati in smo nekako pristali v tekmovanju za zadnja mesta. Naš absolutni seštevek na vseh sedmih časovnih kontrolah je bil najboljši 200 točk, kar je 2 sekundi. Za primerjavo so najboljši vozniki dosegali le 70 točk, to je 0,7 sekunde, kar pomeni da so bili v vsaki časovni kontroli povprečno le 10 stotink sekunde prehitri ali prepočasni. Nora natančnost.
Torej najboljši ni najhitrejši.

Four members from forum oldschool-slo.com went to Vrtojba where our western neighbors organized a time trial with oldtimers called the Piston Cup. The course that is primarily intended for go-karts, had seven time controls in which you have to drive at the time determined by the organizer. We were a little surprised when we saw what kind of devices for measuring time and various headsets had competitors, so we also take the matter a little more seriously. Everyone had a passenger who set the pace according to the stopwatch the phone. When we thought that the matter has already been mastered, the results came, and we somehow ended up in the competition for the last places. Our absolute sum of all seven time control was the best around 200 points, which is 2 seconds. For comparison, the best drivers achieved only 70 points, which is 0.7 seconds, which means that they were in control all the time on average only 10 hundredths of a second too fast or too slow. Insane accuracy. So the best is not the fastest.
